Celebrate Your Micro Wedding
at Prairie Guest House

Some weddings are for everyone. Yours is for you.

The best micro weddings in Central Indiana aren't happening in ballrooms — they're happening at Prairie Guest House, a quietly beautiful bed and breakfast in Fishers, Indiana, tucked among gardens and meadows. We're made for couples who'd rather linger over breakfast with their closest people than manage a 200-person guest list.

We host micro weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and full wedding weekends — with cozy suites, a dedicated Bridal Studio, and an easy drive to many of Central Indiana's most beloved venues.

Micro Wedding Frequently Asked Questions

Where would my wedding ceremony take place?

You have several beautiful options, each with its own distinctive character:

- Exchange vows in our peaceful meadow, nestled between native, old-growth trees, with plenty of open space for your guests to gather and enjoy the natural surroundings.

- Celebrate in our charming studio, which opens onto a spacious lawn and creates a bright, relaxed setting for your ceremony. This space comfortably accommodates up to 70 guests with theater-style seating.

- Make a memorable entrance down the staircase into our dining room or sunroom for a more intimate indoor ceremony. This is a lovely option for our smallest gatherings.

We would love to welcome you for a tour so you can experience each space in person and discover which setting feels like the perfect fit for your day.

Where would my reception take place?

For gatherings of up to 50 guests, you may enjoy an outdoor reception or gather indoors in our charming dining room and sunroom — an inviting, boutique-style space filled with natural light and views of our courtyard gardens. This area accommodates up to 25 guests for a seated reception or up to 50 guests for a standing-style gathering, creating an atmosphere that feels festive and relaxed.

For gatherings of more than 50 guests, your reception would be hosted in our beautiful outdoor spaces. These celebrations pair especially well with our studio, whose French doors open onto a spacious lawn that can accommodate a tent up to 20’ x 40’. You might choose to hold your ceremony in the studio and celebrate outdoors afterward — or exchange vows outside and use the studio for your buffet, bar, or dance floor. This flexible layout allows you to design a flow that works with your vision.

A Wedding Weekend to Remember

One of the things that makes a Prairie Guest House wedding so special is that your celebration doesn't have to end when the last dance is over. Our wedding packages include a two-night whole-house stay, giving you and your favorite people the opportunity to slow down, settle in, and enjoy an entire weekend together.

From getting ready with your wedding party to lingering over our home-cooked breakfasts in the morning, you'll have exclusive use of the property to make yourselves at home. Your stay includes nine charming guest rooms, each with a private bathroom, along with the Honeymoon Suite in the Main House for the newlyweds.

To help with planning, couples can generally expect the two-night Guest House stay to run approximately:

  • $7,499 + tax during our low season (November–March)
  • $9,499+ tax during our high season (April–October)

These figures are intended as a general guide, as final pricing may vary based on your chosen dates and amenities.

We partner with A Classic Party Rental for tent rentals, so feel free to reach out to them for a quote. Our property can accommodate a 20’x40’ tent. For all tented events, there is a $350 tented-event fee. Please note that this fee does not include the cost of the tent rental itself.

Am I allowed to bring my own catering?

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring in the caterer of your choice. Please note that kitchen access is not available, so all food should arrive ready to serve. This allows you the flexibility to select menu options that best fit your vision for the day.

How do I reserve my date?

Your date is secured with a 20% non-refundable reservation retainer at the time of booking. The remaining balance, along with a $500 damage deposit, will be charged to the card on file one month prior to your event. Dates remain available until a deposit is received, so we recommend reserving early to ensure your preferred date is held just for you.

What is the difference between the reservation retainer and the damage deposit?

Reservation retainer: A 20% non-refundable deposit that is collected at the time of booking to reserve your date. This amount is applied toward your total venue rental fee. Damage deposit: A $500 damage deposit that is charged to the card on file along with your remaining balance one month prior to your event. This deposit is fully refundable, provided the space is left in good condition with no property damage. Apart from the damage deposit, all payments are non-refundable.
